Boho is back — here’s how to wear it this time around

Photographs of Sienna Miller wandering around Glastonbury circa 2004 in her trademark “boho” floaty dress, waistcoat and fedora get-up pop up every summer as inspiration for festival season, and a few gap years too. As at home as that look is at Worthy Farm, it doesn’t have quite the same sartorial punch in day-to-day life — it’s highly unlikely you’ve been planning on wearing fringing and studded ankle boots to the supermarket recently.

Now, though, Sienna is back in her boho, and this time it’s all grown up — thanks to Chemena Kamali, Chloé’s recently appointed creative director, luxe bohemian lace is in vogue again. The new look pairs sharp tailoring and statement jewellery with classic Seventies staples. Try Isabel Marant’s inky black lace-trimmed cami with sharply tailored high-waisted trousers, Zara’s ivory lace minidress with a chunky charm bracelet from Missoma, or Chloé’s floaty blouse with wide-leg dark-denim jeans. Groovy.
